Jeff Fletcher enlisted into the US Army Reserve on January 18, 1984 as an Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist and served with the 395th Ordnance Company in Appleton, WI. In 1985, Jeff enlisted into the US Army as a Cannon Crewmember. During Jeff’s 9 1/2 years in the Regular Army, his duty stations included two assignments with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY, two years with the 8th Infantry Division in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, a tour on recruiting duty in Oak Lawn, IL, and a tour at Fort Riley, Kansas with the 1st Infantry Division. Jeff participated in Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991 with the 101st Airborne Division in A Battery, 2d Battalion, 320th Field Artillery.

Jeff enlisted into the Wisconsin Army National Guard in August 1994 and served in a variety of assignments in the Field Artillery community to include Howitzer Gunner, Gunnery Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Battalion Command Sergeant Major. Jeff was deployed to Kuwait/Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006-2007 as the Command Sergeant Major of the 121st Field Artillery and in 2009-2010 as the Support Operations Sergeant Major for the 32d Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

Jeff retired from the Wisconsin Army National Guard in January 2011 with 27 years of military service.
