Our Warriors return home different after a deployment to a combat zone. They leave a piece of themselves behind in the country in which they served. According to a recent Veterans Affairs (VA) study, an average of 17 Veterans commit suicide each day. Depending on the service era, between 10 and 29% of Veterans will experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at some point in their lives. One-fifth of Veterans dealing with PTSD are also struggling with a substance abuse problem. It is possible that Veterans can experience symptoms of trauma without recognizing it.
LMSG strives to make a difference for those impacted by any amount of post-traumatic stress or PTSD. We hope you find these resources useful.
