Information: Pastor Larry Wentzlaff serves as Chaplain for the Lutheran Military Support Group Board of Directors. He is a U.S. Army Veteran; Larry served from 1974 to 1985. Duty stations include Fort Lewis, WA; Dolan Bks, Schwabisch Hall, FRG; Fort Greely, AK; and Fort Hood, TX. Primary MOS was Quartermaster; secondary MOS was UH-1H Huey Mechanic and crew.

He met during his time at Fort Lewis, Washington. He  married PFC Stephanie Shively on December 20, 1975, together they raised three sons, and have two granddaughters.

Larry graduated from Bethany Theological Lutheran Seminary in 2001. He was called to serve, Family of God Lutheran Church and School, Fort Mohave, Az  and then in 2010 Faith Lutheran Church, Clara City, MN. Currently Larry is a Serving the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) as their Evangelism Missions Counselor and lives in Owatonna, MN.
